Piñata is a 501(c). We are a committed to providing access to education, health care, and economic development, so that families can reach their full potential. We believe that all people deserve the opportunity to have a better life, and we are dedicated to doing our part to make that a reality.
Problematic.
On July 11, 2023, there was a very strong earthquake in Chiapas, Mexico; For this reason, a CIF (Family Integration Center) was severely damaged in this state. Currently Chiapas is the most backward state in Mexico, being the state with the greatest poverty (74.7%), and at the same time it occupies 1st place in illiteracy in Mexico (21.3%), currently Chiapas is in 6th place with ( 54.9%) of Central American immigrants within the state, so we are providing support to generate social and human capital to Latin American families.
Piñata requires support to help families in Latin America and thus be able to raise $180,000 dollars to invest in the repair of the building (CIF). This investment will be made to continue the teaching work of: 1,600 students, 120 teachers and 850 families in Latin America, and thus be able to help the population cover their educational gaps in order to have a quality education. Piñata is responsible for generating social and human capital which.
Social capital: when donating and investing with Piñata, it supports Latin American families in which we generate values, better citizens, and increase the relationships they have with other individuals, generating better trust and better individuals.
Human capital: It is the reasoning and thinking capacity of everyone that is capital for the country, which is why it helps each person generate wealth for themselves and their family.
By investing in Piñata and working with Mexicans, you help generate values and cover the gaps in the population, thus helping to avoid migration to the USA and supporting individuals to grow professionally, creating competencies and skills for everyone.
